דָרְבָן= a goad

A Goad is a pole use for prodding the animals to move. Notice the pointed stick in the image below.

וְהָיְתָה הַפְּצִירָה פִים

The Pim was a weight used in ancient times. It is thought to have weighed about two thirds of a silver sheckel.

Accordingly, the posuk is saying that the amount of silver which weighed a Pim was the price for sharpening tools.
