The Process
As part of this project you will need to do research the dimensions and placement of the following items.
- The Courtyard of the Mishkan and its poles
- The Mishkan and its beams
- The Holy of Holies including the Aron
- The Sanctuary including the Table, Menorah and Golden Altar
- The Copper Altar and Ki'yor located outside the Sanctuary
To help you accomplish this task, you will be directed to the psukim where detailed information can be found. You will also have access to numerous pictures and diagrams. You will first record the information on a guided question sheet and then use that information to create an architectural drawing on a piece of graph paper which you can get by clicking here. In conclusion, it is recommended that students create a display and give an oral presentation of their finding.
Note: Teachers can choose to divide the various sections amongst different groups of students.
